Playing At The Discovery Center

Mommy and I went to The Discovery Center one day this week and I had so much fun! Our friends, Miss Jamie, Amelie, and Maren, took us and we got in for free! Mommy said that makes it even more fun! The Discovery Center is a lot of fun. There were so many neat activities to do and we only got through maybe half of everything there is to do there. Mommy had a really great time, too, and told Daddy about it. I heard them talking about it and I think they are going to get us a membership so we can go anytime we want. That will be so much fun! I really like playing with Amelie and Maren, too. Amelie is 4 years old and Maren is 20 months old. We all have a lot of fun playing together!

This was really neat. I put my hand up to the board and it changed colors.

This was a lot of fun, too. I put a scarf up the middle and it blew all the way up the tube and over the top. I loved it!

Amelie was brushing these giant teeth. When it was my turn for the toothbrush, Mommy took it away from me because I tried to brush my own teeth instead of the giant teeth.

My Shoes

I have some really pretty shoes! Aunt Stephanie gave these to me last year and I'm finally getting to play in them. Aren't they so pretty!?

Cupcakes!

I have the best Mommy! She took me to get cupcakes the other day at 11am in the morning. This means that I got to eat my cupcake before lunch! It was really nice of her to let me do that! I got a chocolate cupcake with white frosting and it was really yummy! Thanks, Mommy! I love you!

Playing At The Art Museum

Mommy took me to a new play place last week and it was a lot of fun. It was at the Springfield Art Museum. She found out that they have a play place for little kids and we decided to check it out. It was pretty fun. They have lots of different things to do like color, put together shapes, build with blocks, put together puzzles, a magnet board to arrange shapes with and lots of other neat things to do. We were the only ones there at the time so that made it more fun! Thanks for taking me there, Mommy! I love you!

My New Bed

I have a little crib for my baby dolls to sleep in but last week I decided it would be fun to sleep in it myself. I gathered up all my friends and had them get into my new bed with me. Mommy and Daddy said I couldn't sleep in it overnight, but I had fun playing in it for a while!

Ice Cream!

I got to eat ice cream last week and it was really, really, really yummy! It was actually custard from Andy's Frozen Custard and not ice cream, but I didn't care at all. I just cared about how good it was! Mommy and I shared chocolate custard with hot fudge on it and I loved every bit that I ate! I also got a little messy, but I didn't care. It made me really hyper, too!

I can't wait until Molly is old enough to eat ice cream. I bet she will love it as much as I do. She was with us, but sleeping in her car seat. She really missed out on some good dessert!

Phone Calls

I like to play with my Mommy's phone and sometimes I call people when I'm on her phone, too. I've called lots of people, but my favorite person to call is my Aunt Pam. (Mommy calls her my Aunt Pam, but I don't think she's my Aunt like Aunt Stephanie is my Aunt. I think she's more my Mommy's really, really, really good friend so she calls her Aunt.)

One of the first times I called Aunt Pam she answered the phone and she talked to me but I didn't really talk back to her. She told Mommy about this and they had a good laugh about it. Well, a few weeks ago I really wanted to talk to Aunt Pam. She wasn't answering her phone so I made sure to try calling her a lot of times in a row. Like 5 times in a row!! The last time I called her, her voicemail picked up and Mommy left her a message for me. I can't wait to call Aunt Pam again!

My First Dance

Last weekend I got to do something really fun with my Daddy.  I went to my first dance!  It was a Daddy/daughter dance at church.  Daddy told me that he was going to take me, but I didn't really know what he was talking about.  On the day of the dance I was really excited because I knew we were going to do something special.

Mommy helped me pick out a really pretty dress.  It was my Easter dress this year and I really like it.  She put a pretty bow in my hair and gave me a purse to carry.  Daddy dressed up in his best clothes and even wore a tie!  He looked nice.  We took a few pictures at home and then we went to the dance.

We got there and I was a little shy at first.  We took a few more pictures at church and we got to walk around and explore.  Then it was time for dinner.  We sat down at a table with some really pretty flowers.  I got my own glass of water and I ate a really good dinner with pasta and salad.  I just kept eating and eating because it was so good!  We sat with our friends Amelie and her daddy Nick.  It was fun to see them.

After we got done eating we went into a big room where there was balloons and candles and lots of open space to dance.  There was some fun music playing and I got to run around and have a lot of fun.  I played on the stage with the balloons, I played ring around the rosie with Daddy and my friends, and Daddy and I danced together some.  After a while it was time to go so I said goodbye to my friends. 

I'm so glad my Daddy took me to my first dance.  It was really fun and I know it was really special to him!  I love my Daddy a lot and I know he loves me so much too!

4th of July!

I got to celebrate my third 4th of July yesterday! I had a fun, fun day playing at Gumma and Poppy's house, swimming, and playing fireworks. I really liked making sparkles with the sparklers!

 

Swimming!

I got to go swimming last week with Mommy and Daddy and it was so much fun! It seems like everything I do with them is so much fun, but this really was!

First we got to swim in my pool in our backyard. Mommy even got in the pool with me. She is so fun like that. She is so good to play with me whenever I want!

 

 

After we got done swimming in my pool we went down to the big pool. And you guessed it, it was so much fun! There's actually two big pools. One is a little pool and then there's a big, big pool. I got to swim in both of the pools but liked the little one best. Mommy and Daddy both swam with me. They are so much fun!

 



Molly even went swimming with us, but she didn't want to get in the pool. She wanted to sit with Mommy and sleep instead! She really likes sleeping!
