Driving Molly To School!

We went to a really fun carnival last weekend with Mommy and Daddy and Gumma and Poppy. Poppy called it a festival, but I think it was really a carnival. We ate some yummy chicken and beans and then got to play a dart game where I won a really cute owl I named Hooty, and then we got to ride rides!

First we rode a neat ferris wheel that was like a cage that Molly and I got to sit in together. It went around and around and I loved it! Next we rode a school bus and I got to drive Molly to school! After that we rode some apple with Mommy! It was fun riding with her. We tried to make the apples spin around and around and I loved that!

4 Things About Me!

I had homework for preschool! Can you believe that? I had homework and I'm only in preschool! It was fun homework, though. My teachers sent home a paper bag with a note saying I needed to fill it up with four things that told about me. I would get to show everything to my class and tell them all about it on the first day of school. Mommy and Daddy helped me gather my four things and then when Gramma and Grampa were here last weekend I practiced with them. Here's what I put in my bag: a picture of my family, a ballet shoe because I love to dance, a seashell from our Florida vacation this past summer, and a colored pencil because I love to draw and color. I think those were really good things that tell all about me! I was a little nervous about it, but it was pretty fun in the end! You can watch me practicing here!

My First Day of Pre-K!

I started school again today! This year I'm in pre-kindergarten, or Pre-K for short. My teachers are Ms. Michelle, Ms. Amy, and Ms. Maria. I had Ms. Amy last year as my teacher, so it's fun to have her again this year! And two of my friends, Kingston and Kramer, are in my class again this year. I really like them!

I got to pick out a new pretty outfit to wear on my first day of school and Mommy, Daddy, and Molly all walked me into my classroom. It was fun having them come with me. I was kind of scared, but really excited! We actually went to school last Monday night to meet my teachers and see my classroom, so that was fun! I go to school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9am-1pm. I eat lunch at school and get to go to gym class, music class, and art class. I think I'm really going to like school again this year!

The Friendly Caterpillar

Last week we got a new water sprinkler to play in outside and it's so much fun! It's called the Friendly Caterpillar and I love playing in it! You can make it's arms go really fast or make them go slow and they shoot water out at you. I like for them to go slow so I can play with the water. It's super fun!
