My Father's Day Card

I made a Father's Day card for Daddy and I think he really liked it. I wrote it myself, but had a little help from Mommy about how to spell the words. It says Dear Daddy Happy Fathers Day I Love You. I also drew a rainbow on the card because I love rainbows! You can watch me read it to him here.

Vacation Bible School!

Our church had Vacation Bible School last week and I got to go to it. The theme was called Shipwrecked. I was kind of scared to go to my class a few nights, so I got to work in the market area instead. Working in the market was a lot of fun! I got to wear a really pretty flower necklace and help kids buy things. The market was there to raise money for some kids in Guatemala that our church supports. I'm glad I got to help with that! We also got to sing some really fun songs! Mommy bought a CD that has all the songs on it and I love singing to them in the car and at home.

Spring Dance Recital

I had my second spring dance recital last month and it was quite fun! I wore a pretty costume and danced to the song "Banana Phone." I think I did a great job! I even got to do a big dance at the end for the grand finale with all of the dancers and my teachers. That was pretty neat! Mommy and Daddy gave me a flower after the recital and I they also gave me a really pretty jewelry box that plays music when I open the lid. I loved my dance class and all my dance friends this spring! I'm taking the summer off from dance, but can't wait to go back in the fall!

I Graduated!

I graduated from Preschool last month! It was a fun ceremony and I even got to hold the Bible while we walked down the aisle. You can watch me here! We said the there pledges we've learned, sang a few songs, and got a diploma. I had a great time! Gumma, Poppy, and Aunt Stephanie even came to see me graduate. After that we had lunch at Steak 'n Shake and Gumma gave me a globe for a graduation present. I like the globe, but thought that it was going to be a toy inside of that big box!

My Dance Progress Report

I had a lot of fun in dance class this past semester! It was my first time learning tap and I got to work more on my ballet dancing. I just loved it so much! I did a great job on my progress report and my teacher said I could even move up to the next class level if I wanted. I really love dance, but we're going to take a break from it for the summer and come back to it again in August. For now, I just dance all around my house!
