I'm 6!!!

My birthday was yesterday, April 28, so I'm now finally six years old! I had a super fun birthday weekend! It started on Saturday when I got to take some friends roller skating with me. I really like roller skating! And Daddy, Grampa, Trevor, and Cody even skated, too! It was a lot of fun! After that we went home and had tacos (my favorite) for dinner and I opened presents from Gramma and Grampa, Gumma and Poppy, Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Nathan, Trevor, Cody, and Aunt Linda and Uncle Dale! I got a lot of neat presents!

On my actual birthday day I had breakfast in bed like usual and I love it! You can watch me waking up to breakfast in bed here! Gramma and Grampa spent the night with us, so they got to see my breakfast in bed, too! It was a Sunday so we went to church and I wore all my birthday bling with my favorite watermelon dress. I love it so much! My friends in music class even sang happy birthday to me!

After church we had breakfast at home and then I just played with my toys that afternoon. Gumma and Poppy came over for dinner that night and then I got to open my presents from Mommy, Daddy, and Molly. They gave me some neat things and a Storm E. Sky doll from Lalaloopsy! I was so super surprised to get it and love that doll so much!

It was such a super fun birthday! I'm excited to do a whole bunch of things now that I'm six years old!

My Behavior Notebook

One day I went shopping with Daddy and he let me get this really cool notebook! I love notebooks! I decided to turn this notebook into a kind of behavior chart for everyone. I made a line for Mommy, Daddy, Molly, and Me and make marks in it each day for how well we behaved. It's pretty neat, I think! You can watch me explain it here.

Milk Cow At School!

One day at school we got to learn all about milk cows and even see one get milked! A lady who lives in Oklahoma brought her milk cow to our school and told us all about the process of milking cows. It was really neat and I learned a lot about milk and how it's really good for you to drink! I love school. We get to do and learn so many neat things!

My Sister Story

Each day at school I get to write a story and then draw a picture about it. One day this week I wrote a story about Molly, my sister, because I love her! You can watch me read it here.

Mann Market Treasures

My school is called Horace Mann Elementary and they have this thing once a month called Mann Market. Each day you're at school you can earn Mann Bucks to spend at the Mann Market. You earn the Mann Bucks by being at school from bell to bell each day and not getting in trouble. You can earn two Mann Bucks each day. The Mann Market is set up at a church that's right across the street from the school and we walk over there in the morning to go shopping. They have lots and lots and lots of neat things at all different prices. I've gotten some fun stuff this year, especially all the things I got in March. I got a whole bunch of fun things! Art Walk And Multicultural Night!

My school had a Multicultural Night and Art Walk one night and it was really neat! I got to learn about some different cultures, like how to write a Japanese word and got to listen to a story in French. I also got to show off my awesome artwork that was on display on the walls! I really like art and Mommy and Daddy say I'm pretty good at it, too.

Limo Ride And Pizza!

I got to do something really neat for lunch one day at school! I got to take a LIMO ride to Cici's with some friends and eat lunch there! It was so cool! I'd never been in a limo before and really, I didn't even know what a limo was! When Mommy told me I got to do this I had to ask her what a limo was! It was so much fun! The limo was really long and had starts all over it! My pizza was super yummy, but the best part about the food was the cinnamon roll I had for dessert! Mommy told me I should be sure to get some dessert and I'm so glad she told me about that!

I got to do the limo ride because our PTA had a fundraiser where we had to sell coupon books. You could get a prize for selling different amounts of books and I sold enough to get the limo ride and pizza lunch! I can't wait to do this again next year!

Rocks!

Mommy told us about something really neat: painting and hiding rocks! At first I didn't really understand what she was talking about, but then we went to the park one day to look for some rocks and saw my friend Olivia. She was there with her family hiding rocks they had painted. We found some of her rocks and it was so much fun! They even let us walk around with them and hide some of their rocks. I loved it! Mommy got us some rocks to paint so one day we painted our own to bring back to the park and hide. I think the rock thing is a lot of fun!

Snack Picnic!

We had a very beautiful weather this past Wednesday and the girls had fun playing outside after Lucy got home from school. They decided to have a snack picnic in the yard on their beach towels. :)
