I was the MVP for my class during December! Each month at school we talk about a word and the person who most demonstrates that word for the month is chosen as the MVP! For December out word was integrity and I won for my class! I was surprsied and excited to get this award and of course, Mommy and Daddy were really proud of me, too!
Molly even won the award for her class in December! That's kind of cool!
I have a writing journal at school that I write in each day. Sometimes I can write about whatever I want and sometimes I write about what my teacher says to write about. Mommy likes to see what I write and said I should share it here, so here you go! Here's some pages from my November writing journal!
I've been really into crafts lately, even knitting and crochetting. Mommy knits all the time and she taugh me how to knit so I knitted my very own coaster a few weeks ago! I think I did a great job and it really wasn't too hard at all. I can't wait to knit more things!
I had a HUGE surprise last Friday morning when I woke up! I lost another tooth overnight and didn't even realize it until I woke up! I woke up and felt it kind of hanging on my lip so I put it in my hands. Then I don't really know what happened because I think I fell back asleep and I lost my tooth again! I got up and told Mommy and Daddy and we tried looking for my tooth. I was really sad about maybe losing my tooth, but Daddy found it stuck to my pillow! And then when I was going to put my tooth in my tooth fairy pillow I dropped it on the floor and lost it a third time!! It took a long time to find it, but Mommy finally found it on the floor. We carefully put it in my pillow and made sure to not lose it again!
When we last saw Cody he told me I looked like a jack-o-lantern with all my missing teeth. When I looked in the mirror after losing this tooth I said, "now I really do look like a jack-o-lantern!" It was really funny! It was kind of nice losing it this way because there wasn't any blood and it didn't hurt. I miss having the tooth in my mouth, though, because it was really fun to wiggle and play with.
I wrote a note to the tooth fairy telling her I didn't even know I'd lost my tooth and she wrote me back saying that was funny and that she saw our elf, Sweetie Pie, that night when she came to take my tooth! And Sweetie Pie was even in my room, playing with some floss, when I woke up the next morning! The tooth fair brought me a pack of gum and $1!
Our school does a Holiday Store for kids at school each year. They have presents we can buy for our friends and family and they even wrap the presents for us! Last week Mommy and Daddy gave me some money for the Holiday Store to buy some presents and I even used some of my own money, too. I bought Molly a super fun paper thing and I even bought Daddy a flashlight and Mommy a photo album! They all loved their gifts and it was fun shopping for them!
We got a super fun surprise package in the mail last week from Gramma and Grampa! They sent me and Molly each a fun hat that even lights up and they sent me a pair of slippers! Last year they got Molly some slippers, but they didn't have any in my size, so I didn't get any. Gramma found some for me this year and sent them. I love them! The hats are super fun, too, because they light up and flash. This was a super fun package! Thank you Gramma and Grampa! I love you!
One day Mommy let me wear my jammies to school for the day...and it wasn't even jammies day at school! Mommy is so much fun like that! I love these jammies, too, and they don't even really look like jammies.
So I really like eating mini muffins! I eat chocolate chip and blueberry mini muffins. I sometimes have them for breakfast before school and sometimes have them for snack time during school. One night Molly and I made up a whole dance to one of the sounds on my iPad! It's the dog barking sound that you can set for an alarm. We thought it was so funny! You can watch us here!
I discovered that my iPad has a whole bunch of different sound options for the alarm. I started listening to them one day and decided they would be good to dance to. I made up a dance to one of the sounds and Mommy recorded me. I think it's really good! You can watch me here!
I got to go to my very first sleepover a few weeks ago and it was fun! It was at my friend Zoey's house for her birthday. I went over there on Saturday afternoon and spent the night and then went to church with her the next day. Another one of her friends was there, too. I was just so excited for it all week long and was kind of a little nervous when I got to her house, but I got over that and had fun playing with Zoey. We had pizza for dinner and yummy cupcakes and ice cream. We watched some TV and just hung out playing together. I got to sleep on the bottom bunk of her bunk bed and really liked going to church with her. Their church was a lot bigger than mine! I was really tired the next day when I got home and fell asleep super early that night! I can't wait to go to another sleepover and even have one of my own!
I really like to watch Wheel of Fortune with Daddy. He's really good at solving puzzles and I'm starting to get good at them, too! One night I solved a puzzle all on my own and I'm pretty proud of it! You can watch me guess the puzzle here!
This year because of Covid we couldn't do the Turkey Trot that I do every year with Mommy, Daddy, Molly, and Poppy. We still wanted to do a Turkey Trot so on Thankgiving morning me, Mommy, Daddy, and Molly went for a little walk around our neighborhood for a Turkey Trot of our own! It was a little cold out, but fun!
We also decided to do a big Turkey Trot again after we had our Thanksgiving meal. We called it: Covid Trot 2020, Runnin' From The Ronas! I made up bib numbers for everyone to wear and we had a fun time doing the Covid Trot at Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Nathan's house. I got to be the race director and tell everyone where to go and what to do. I think I did a great job at our Covid Trot and you can watch the start of it here!
We got to see Santa Claus a few weeks ago! We went to Bass Pro where we always go to see him and it was pretty fun. We couldn't sit on his lap and he sat behind a big clear piece of plexiglass and we stood to the side to tell him what we wanted. It was kind of hard to hear him because we weren't really close to him, but it was okay. We sat on a bench thing in front of him to take a picture. Then we got to ride the carousel and walk around Bass Pro Shops for a little bit. It was seeing Santa!
