Positive Principal Referral #2

A few weeks ago I got my second Positive Principal Referral from my from my computers teacher, Mrs. Watkins, because she said I've done a great job getting all my online computer assignments done on the days I do homeschool. I was super excited about this! My name was on the morning announcements and I got to go to the principal's office to pick a prize from the prize box. I also got a certificate sent home. I got a Positive Principal Referral last year from my first grade teacher for being a good and responsible student. I love being rewarded for doing good! 

Dance!

 I'm doing dance again this fall and love it! I go on Thursdays after school and am taking a jazz and ballet class. I do 30 minutes of ballet and then 30 minutes of jazz. It's really fun and I love, love, love my teacher! She's so much fun! Thanks for taking me to dance, Mommy! 

Time Lapse Art!

A few weeks ago I did a really neat art project. It was working with the colors on the color wheel and patterns, too. This is the picture that I colored and I love it! I also did another one where I recorded myself doing it and made a time lapse video of it, too. It was really neat and you can watch my video here! 

Sewing!

 I learned to sew this week by hand and on the sewing machine and it was really fun! I wanted to learn so Mommy got me some material and had me make a coaster. First she made me sew it by hand, which kind of took a while. Then she let me do it on the sewing machine! That was really cool. I had to have her help me get started because I was afraid of getting my fingers sewed together, but it was fun once I got going. You can watch me sew my coaster here! I was going to sew some more, but her sewing machine started not working so she needs to get it fixed for me! 

Braids!

Mommy French braided my hair one day into two braids and I wore it to school like that. Then I slept in it all night and when she took my braids out the next day my hair was all curly! It looked like I had a perm and it was so pretty! I loved my hair like this! 

Fort Camping

One night me and Molly decided we wanted to make a fort and sleep in the family room! Well, we started off on the floor, but we quickly decided that wasn't very comfortable so went up to sleep in our rooms! Then a few nights later Mommy had an idea to push our couch and loveseat together so we could sleep on them instead. Then Daddy made the couches into a fort by putting a sheet over the couches. It was so much fun and we ended up sleeping down there all night long! I hope we can do it again sometime because it was really fun! 

Climbing High Five!

The week before school started Mommy took us to Urban Air Adventure with our friends, Darby and Owen and we had the best time! We got to eat at Chick fil A beforehand, too. We had a lot of fun this summer swimming with Darby and Owen and it was a fun day to wrap up our summer!

I love Urban Air! Darby and I had so much fun climbing all the climbing walls. One time we climbed together at the same time and did a hi five to each other! It was super cool and you can watch us here! 

After Urban Air, Mommy took us to Pineapple Whip to get a treat. I love summer and I'm really sad it's over! 

Wheel Of Fortune!

Daddy really likes to watch Wheel of Fortune and he's really good at it, too. We watch it every night at 6:30pm. I've started watching it and have realized that I'm kind of good at solving the puzzles, too. Mommy has an old Wheel of Fortune game that I got out to play one night and had so much fun solving the puzzles! She said she remembers getting the game as a Christmas present one year when they had Christmas in the basement. :) 

At Home PE

So along with all the class work I have to do during home school, I also have to do PE at home! Can you believe that?! I guess it wasn't so bad, though. I got to pick between two activities to do and what I chose was a game called 52 card pickup. I had to get a deck of cards and put them in the middle of the driveway. Then I had to run a lap around the driveway and pick a card up each time I completed a lap and put it in my own pile of cards. I ran for a little bit and then Mommy said I could ride my bike if I wanted and I could pick up 4 cards from the middle pile to put in my pile. So I did that because it was more fun riding my bike.
