Mommy's so funny! She got me some cheddar explosion Goldfish for my birthday and wrapped them up as a present for me! I really like these kinds of Goldfish and we don't have them very often. I was totally not expecting that as a present, so it was really funny! I'm so glad she got them for me because the cheddar explosion Goldfish are so much better than the regular Goldfish she gets! I'm FINALLY 8 years old now! Yesterday was my birthday and it was a really great day! It started with breakfast in bed which I love! I had a donut in bed and then Mommy let me have another donut later before we left for school! I was afraid my teacher was going to be gone yesterday, but she wasn't, so that was fun! She gave me a bottled water with a pink lemonade packet to put in it and a cool straw. I also got to go to the office to get a book for my birthday! I love my school! Mommy brought me Chick-fil-A for lunch and even surprised me with an orange Fanta! I knew she was bringing me lunch but didn't know she'd bring me the drink, too!
After school Mommy and Daddy picked me up and we went to Claire's in the mall and got my ears pierced!!! I have wanted to do this for a while and we decided my birthday was the perfect time to do it! I picked out some really pretty pink hearts to have my ears pierced with. I was a little nervous and it hurt a little bit and I cried a little bit, but not really. I'm so glad I got my ears pierced because they look so good!!
Gumma and Poppy met us for dinner at Qdoba and then we came home and I opened presents and had cake and ice cream. You can watch them sing happy birthday to me here! I had a really good birthday and I think it's great to be 8!
One night we had pancakes for dinner and Mommy and Daddy said I could put Reddi-wip on my pancakes! It was fun to put it on, but I probably wouldn't do it again. They didn't taste very good! I think Reddi-wip is more fun to eat just straight out of the can!
We always sing lots of fun songs in music class! Music class is one of my favorites and I really like it and my teacher. She makes it super fun! We learned a fun, silly song one day and I had Mommy film me singing it. You can watch me here!
I got another Positive Principal Referral at school last week! It's so fun because I never know I'm getting it until I heard my name on the announcements that morning! I got it from Mrs. Watkins, my computer teacher. She said she's proud of me because I finished my typing program and am a great typer!
When we changed my room around last week we also changed around some of my decorations. Mommy also let me put up some of her flower decorations that she wasn't using anymore. Well, we put it up and I really liked it, but one night when I was laying in bed I realized we had made a smiley face on my wall! The flowers are the eyes, the L is the nose, and the garland thing is the mouth! Isn't is funny?! Now when I look at this I can't not see it!
I love to do cartwheels and practice my splits and stretches! I do these anywhere I can and the other day Mommy took some pictures of me. I had on my super pretty yellow jumpsuit on, too. I love these pictures!
I got a new comforter a few months ago and totally forgot to write about it! I love it so much! It's white with lots of little dots all over it. I think it's so pretty and I got to pick it out, so that was even better!
Molly and I got to spend the night with Gumma and Poppy the Friday before Easter. Then on Saturday everyone came over and we played outside and celebrated Gumma and Poppy's 70th birthdays. It was really fun in the afternoon because we had an Easter egg hunt! I got a lot of eggs and you can watch me hunt for them here!
We also played kickball which was a lot of fun! I'd never played before but liked it. Gumma even came out and played! She threw the ball to me when it was my turn to kick the ball. You can watch us here! Aunt Stephanie brought some kites and it was windy enough to fly them, so that was fun! It was just a super fun day playing outside with my family!
I've been learning how to write in cursive at school and it's been fun! I think I've learned all the lowercase letters and am now learning the uppercase letters. I wrote this sentence at Gumma and Poppy's last weekend! Mommy and Gumma said my handwriting is soo pretty! I think they're right, too!
Yesterday I asked Mommy if I could change my room around and she said yes!! I was really excited because I didn't know if she would let me or not. She was excited to do it and we got to work right away! Here's some pictures of what my room looked like before:

One of Mommy's favorite songs is Jesus Paid It All. She likes to play it on the piano and one day she asked me to try playing it. It was kind of hard, but I was able to get some of it okay. You can watch me play it here!
