Jesus And Smores And Painting Pottery!

Gramma and Grampa were in Branson a few weeks ago and we got to visit then at their Branson house. They also took us to see the Jesus show at the Sight and Sound Theater. We've seen two other shows with them there and we really like all of the shows. They're really fun! 

After the Jesus show we went back to their Branson house and went swimming with Grampa! They even got us snow cones, which I love! Before we went to dinner the place they were staying had a thing where we could make our own smores, so we did that! It was fun to do, but I don't know if I like smores all that much. It was pretty fun having all that sweet stuff before dinner, though! Then we went out to dinner and me and Gramma each got a super good cherry limeade!

Later that week they came up to our house and Gramma took us to Firehouse Pottery to paint some pottery! It was a lot of fun. I painted a thing that said LOVE and Gramma and Mommy both painted me and Molly an ice cream bowl. They turned out really good! 

And the best part of all, we had a surprise 50th anniversary dinner for Gramma and Grampa that night! I helped decorate for the party and made a cool banner for them. It was such a fun time seeing them and doing all the fun things together! 

  

My Third Grade Classroom

We had a meet the teacher event at school the day before school started and I got to go meet my teacher and take my school supplies that day. It was cool seeing my room and meeting Mr. Lyons. I think it's cool that I have a guy teacher! And Daddy thinks it's funny to ask me "lion" questions about Mr. Lyons. Oh Daddy.........I like my desk! It's a table, but has a cubby thing in it so it's like I have my own desk! There's only five other girls in my class and 12 boys. I have two good friends, Cady and Elliot, in my class so it's fun to play with them. I think third grade is going to be pretty cool! Mommy cut off Mr. Lyons in the picture below that I'm in, but you can see him in another picture, too. 

Descendants Musical!

Mommy took us to see the Descendants musical at the Springfield Little Theater last month and it was a lot of fun! We watched the first movie in June and watched the other two right after it. We all really like the movies, so it was fun to go see it as a play. And there were kids, like some even my age, as the actors! It was a fun time and she let us eat at Chick fil A before the show, too! 

First Day Of 3rd Grade!

I started THIRD grade on Monday! I can't believe I'm already in third grade. Third grade is cool because I'm at a completely different end of the hallway at school and I sit at a table, but have a cubby thing on it so it's like I sit at a desk! AND, get this, I have a guy for a teacher! His name is Mr. Lyons and I think he's pretty cool so far. I really like him. On the first day of school I was kind of nervous and excited, too. Mommy and Daddy couldn't walk me into the school, but we still took a lot of pictures that morning! And after school Mommy took us to get Pineapple Whip! I think it will be a good year in third grade! 

Olympics Backstroke Swimming!

We went night swimming one night at our pool and it was fun! We never go swimming at night so I loved it. I had been watching the swimming races on the Olympics and decided to do my own backstroke race. I jumped in just like the swimmers do, got ready, set, and took off! I think I did a good job. Walking On Water!

We went to Joplin to celebrate Cody's birthday last month and we went swimming in their pool. They have these neat water mats that you can kind of walk on without sinking in the water, so it's like you're walking on water! I tried it and it was so much fun! You can watch me here!
