The Duke Of York!

I'm taking piano lessons again this year. I like to play the piano, but don't always like to practice. But I found a really fun song, The Duke Of York, that I really like to play so that's fun. You can watch me play it here! Isn't it a fun song!?

Pumpkin Coloring Contest

We had a coloring contest at school where you could color a pumpkin to look like your favorite book character or draw your favorite book characters on the pumpkin. I chose the Dog Man books and drew some characters from it on my pumpkin. I think I did a really good job and hope I win! 

Basement Fort

Me and Molly like to make forts and we wanted to make one in the living room like we always do, but Mommy wouldn't let us. She said she had just gotten the living room cleaned up and didn't want to have to clean it again! So we made a fort in the basement and used different things that were down there to make it work. I think it turned out pretty good! 

My New Chromebook

I got a new Chromebook at school and decorated it with a bunch of stickers that my friend gave me. I love my new computer because it runs faster than my old one, and I love, love, love all my stickers! They are so much fun! Which sticker do you like the best?! 

Open House!

We had Open House at school last month and it was fun to show Mommy and Daddy my classroom. Last year the Open House was just videos on the computer and that was kind of dumb! I got to show them all the things I've been working on and where I sit at my desk. I even had a fun little quiz for Mommy to do to see how well she knows me! I made a drawing about reading and you can watch me explain it here! I really like third grade and my teacher, Mr. Lyons. He's really cool and a lot of fun! And I love my school, too! 

Third Grade Fun!

I really like third grade! It's a lot of fun. I like the friends I'm in school with and I really like my teacher, Mr. Lyons. One day last month it was a super nice Friday so we got to have lunch outside and Mr. Lyons sent pictures to Mommy and Daddy about it.  

Cheer Clinic!

One day last month Molly and I went to a Kickapoo Golden Girls Cheer Clinic and it was pretty cool! Kickapoo is where we will go to high school someday and the Golden Girls are dancers who dance at all the ballgames. They're kind of like the cheerleaders, but I think they do more dancing than cheering. They had a clinic one day where we learned a short routine and then got to perform it before the football game that night! It was a lot of fun and one of the girls from my class was there, too! September MVP!!

I was the September MVP for my class! The word for the month was "positivity" so this means that my teacher thought I showed positivity throughout the month! I was surprised to win and, of course, Mommy and Daddy were really proud of me! 

Gymnastics!!

 I started gymnastics classes last week and I love it! I've been wanting to take them for a while and Mommy and Daddy finally said okay! I'm actually taking a tumbling class where I get to work on the trampoline and work on doing cartwheels and back handsprings! It's fun, but a little hard. I'm excited to keep going and get better and better! You can watch  me here!
