Molly's 7th birthday was last Sunday and I got her some really nice birthday presents! I got her a really comfy sweatshirt and pants that I knew she would love! Molly really likes comfy clothes. I also got her some of her favorite candies. I got her some ring pops, some strawberry candies, and some sour tollis. And the car I got her was really funny, too. It had pigs on it!!
We celebrated Twos-day (2/22/22) at school this week! They told us we could dress in a tutu, wear a tiara or a tie, or dress like a twin with someone. My and my best friend, Cady, dressed as twins wearing black pants and the shirt from the Kickapoo Golden Girls dance clinic we went to in the fall. It was fun twinning with her!
I learned a new song on the piano! It's called the Spinning Song and you can watch me play it here! Gumma played this song for me when we were at her house a few weeks ago and Mommy played it, too, and Aunt Stephanie said she even played it when she was taking piano lessons. It's from my new piano book, which Mommy said she and Aunt Stephanie played out of the same book when they were little! It's a really fun song and I'm excited to learn the rest of it!
I got to eat dinner while sitting on the couch last Sunday! I always want to do that but never get to, unless it's Super Bowl Sunday! Mommy and Daddy said it was okay for us all to eat while sitting on the couch and that was awesome! I wish every night could be Super Bowl Sunday!
I had a really fun Valentines party at school last week! We had a fun time playing Bingo and eating ice cream! We got to hand out our Valentines and then open them at school! I got some really cool Valentines, but there was one that I especially liked! Can you tell which one it was?!
One day I decided to dress all in black. Black hat, sunglasses, shirt, sweater, pants, boots. I think I looked really good!
We made my Valentine's Day box last week and I love it! It might be my favorite of all that I've made! I wanted to make a gymnastics box and I found some ideas on Pinterest. Mommy got me a box and some paper to cover it and helped me take pictures and put it all together. I love it and am excited to use it at my Valentine's Day party today at school!
We got like 8 inches of snow last week and didn't have to go to school Wednesday-Friday! We played outside in it some and it was fun! I did some gymnastics in the snow and it was fun! You can watch me here!
We had a Spelling Bee a few weeks ago in our classroom and I won! I didn't really want to do the Spelling Bee, but Mommy and Daddy really wanted me to do it and my teacher made everyone in the class do it, so I guess I had to! Now I get to do the schoolwide Spelling Bee that will be with all the other kids who won from their classroom. And guess what?! Molly is one of those people! She won the Spelling Bee in her classroom so I'll be competing against her! That is on February 18. I've been working on the new list for the second Spelling Bee and those words are kind of hard! I could tell when they got out of the third grade words and started on the fourth and fifth grade words! I'll let you know how I do!
I've been working on a new song this week for piano and I love it! It only took me like one day to memorize it after I started playing it. It's called "The Elf And The Fair" and I love it! You can watch me play some of it here!
Me and Daddy did a blind taste test last week or Coke and Pepsi. He says he can tell a difference but I don't think I can tell a difference. They taste the same to me! What do you think?
I got Pineapple Whip this week! I love Pineapple Whip and it's only out in the summer, but each year they have a whip solstice where they're open in January. They finally had it last weekend so Mommy and Daddy took us to get some Pineapple Whip. It's so good!!
Mommy and I found something really funny last week! We wanted to do a puzzle and we remembered that Gigi had gotten me a puzzle for Christmas. It was a 1,000 piece puzzle. We had put it with our other puzzles so I got it out and Mommy opened it for me because the box was taped. We were really super surprised to find that there wasn't really a puzzle in the box! Instead it was a manger scene!!! We thought this was so funny because ever since we unwrapped the box on December 24 we totally thought it was a puzzle! We didn't even realize that the box was heavier than a puzzle box and you didn't hear any puzzle pieces moving around in the box!
