We went to the Discovery Center last week and I got to walk on the hamster wheel thing they have! I wanted to do this when I went there for my school field trip but didn't have time. It was fun to do, but a little hard to do all the walking to get the wheel to turn! You can watch me here!
I got to read to the dogs again last week! I just love doing this. It's only for 10 minutes, but I really like it. We're going this week again and I think next week and that will be the end until next summer. The dog I had this time was Jasper and he was so calm!
The place I go to for my expander and braces is having a summer scavenger hunt where you go to a bunch of places around town and take you picture and then post it on their Facebook page. And the end of the contest they will draw a name out of everyone who participated and they will win a cool prize. I saw the prize and it's really neat! We have been taking lots of pictures for this. I got my expander in last month and I had to go last week for a checkup. I guess the expander is working because you can see it in the pictures. The top picture was taken the day it was put in. The bottom picture was taken at my checkup and if you look at the middle part of it you can see how the expander has moved out. It's widening my mouth for all my teeth! I've gotten pretty used to it and it's not too bad. I have to go back on September 2 to get braces on my top 4 teeth! I'm kind of excited about that, kind of not!
I'm doing a food drive! I had the idea to do it in the spring because I saw a kids edition of the nightly news and they had a story on it about a kid who did a food drive. I thought that was really cool and wanted to do that myself and wanted to help people. Mommy helped me make a flyer and make a video. She posted it on Facebook and I've had some people bring me food and also one of Mommy's friends sent me money to buy food and Gramma Wiseman sent me money to buy food, too. I'm excited to give it all to the Victory Mission. I think I will have a good amount of stuff to give them! You can watch my video about it here!
For my birthday Mommy and Daddy got me (well and Molly, too) s subscription to Girls World magazine. We would both check these magazines out at school so it was really cool to be able to have our very own copy! They have cool things in the magazine and have places where you can write in and tell them things. One of the things was sending in a story about a "mortifying moment," so I wrote a story about one time when it was really quiet in first grade and I farted!
You can also design clothes and I designed a cool outfit and sent it into them. I hope my stuff gets published in one of their magazines!
We had a fun time on the 4th of July! We went to our Life Group from church on the 3rd and watched fireworks there. It was a really long show but it was fun. I put on 4th of July eye shadow that day and love how it turned out! I think I did a great job of it!
We did our neighborhood bike parade on July 4th morning and I decorated my bike really cool for it. Then we went to Gumma and Poppy's house for the day and went swimming and had dinner and shot off fireworks. Trevor helped me and Molly do some fireworks and that was pretty cool!
We ate at the Cheesecake Factory when we went to Kansas City a few weekends ago to visit Gramma and Grampa. I had a corndog for dinner and it was really good, but the best part was that they let me get a piece of strawberry cheesecake! It was soooooooo good! I took it home to eat and ate every bit of it myself! I can't wait to get another piece from there!

I did a really fun summer school class for two weeks at the Artworks program that our school has. I did a ceramic class where I made a whole bunch of different types of ceramics. And my teacher chose my ceramics to be on display in the display case for the art showcase we had at the end of the week! I really liked this class and am so proud of all of my ceramics!
We went to the mall one day last week and Mommy let us look at everything we wanted! I got to try on some more really cool shoes! She wouldn't let me buy them, but it was fun trying them on. I think they look so cool!
