Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake!

 Gramma and Grampa came down to Branson last week and we saw them on Saturday. I had sent them a letter in the mail asking if they could bring me a piece of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory in Kansas City. We ate there once this summer with them and they let me get a piece of cheesecake then with strawberries and whip cream and it was so good! They brought me my very own piece and it was so so so yummy! I had a few bites when we got there then we went to lunch and to a pumpkin patch thing and then I got to finish it before we had dinner! Thank you Gramma and Grampa! I loved my cheesecake! 

Mark Twain Nomination Books

In library class our library teacher, Ms. Johnson, told us about the Mark Twain Award nominee books. When you're in 1-3 grade she reads some of the books to us. But when you're in 4-5 grades then you get to read them yourself. You have to read four books in order to be able to vote on them and if you read all twelve books then you get a special award at the end of the year. I've already read two books so far and am halfway done with my third book! I think it's fun to read these books and I'm excited to get to vote on them! But I don't think I want to read all of the books because some of them don't really sound all that interesting to me. 

Contest!

I made up a contest for everyone to do! It's where you guess how many gems are in my jar and you put it on a form and then put it in my jar. Whoever guesses the correct number or closets to it will win a gift card to their favorite dessert place! It goes from October 23-November 10! I can't wait to see who wins and also to see what people guess! 

Field Trip!

 My class went on a field trip last week! We had studied about fossils and stuff like that in our science unit so we went to a museum that had a bunch of fossils and stuff. We even got to to out on a nature hike and try to dig for fossils. I didn't really find any fossils, but my BFF Maleah did. It was kind of cold out that day, too. 

When we went into the museum we got to listen to a presentation about how people dig for fossils and dinosaur bones. It was really cool to hear about and super cool to go on a field trip! 

Cool Braid

I had Mommy do my hair in a really cool braid one day. So how she did it is she divided my hair into three sections and then braided each of the three sections like normal. Then she took those three braids and braided them together into one braid. Doesn't it look cool!?

Here's my 4th grade school picture! I think I look really good! I love how much earrings and necklace really showed up! 

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to a pumpkin patch a few weeks ago and it was fun! We went to the same one we've gone to for a lot of years now and we went with our friends, Darby and Owen. We went with them two years ago. It was fun because we got to run on the hay bales and play in the hamster wheel thing. I think that thing is so much fun! When we were done we all went to eat together and Rib Crib and Darby and Owen got to ride in our van with us. That was super fun! 

Dairy Queen Treat

Last Sunday we got a treat from Dairy Queen! I love getting treats like this and I think Mommy and Daddy kind of get annoyed at me sometimes because I ask and ask and ask for it! Sometimes I can get a treat and sometimes I can't, but this time it worked! We had a coupon for buy one blizzard get one for $.99, so we used that. Me and Daddy got a medium blizzard with cookie dough and it was so good! Molly got a sunday with chocolate syrup and Mommy even got a mini blizzard! She never gets these kinds of treats when we get them, so that was fun! I love ice cream treats! 

Kindergarten Jokes!

One day last week on Mommy's memories a video of me in kindergarten reading jokes came up! It was so funny! I guess I wrote these jokes and they are pretty funn! You can watch me here!

Braces Update!

 I went to the orthodontist last week for a braces check up and I got a heavier wire put on my braces. And the wire now goes all the way back to my back teeth. Last time it was just on my four front teeth. And I got blue rubberbands on my braces, too. I like them but don't like how they're all connected. You can see in the picturs how much my teeth have moved! I go back in December and will get my expander removed at that time! I'm kind of looking forward to that!

Making Bracelets!

 I've been making a lot of bracelets lately. I have a whole bunch of beads and I love how I put them all together. I made one for each of my friends and put their names on it. It's a lot of fun!

Fancy Dinner!

 I planned a Fancy Dinner for us a few weeks ago! I made an invitation on the computer and gave it to everyone. Mommy helped me get out nice placemats and cloth napkins. She even let me use her napkin rings and her fancy glasses and her china plate! I set the table and made everyone a thank you card for coming. It was a fun, fancy dinner and I can't wait to do it again sometime! 

Open House!

We had Open House at school a few weeks ago! It was fun to show Mommy and Daddy my classroom and where I sit and Mommy had to take a picture of me at my desk. I like my class and my teacher, Ms. Carson. She's pretty nice and we do some really fun things in 4th grade!
