Birthday Sleepover!

I had a sleepover for my birthday and it was really fun! It was with my friends, Olivia and Maleah. Maleah came home with me after school and then Olivia came over a little later. The ice cream truck came by when they were here so Mommy let us get a treat! We did this really fun thing called the tortilla challenge where someone puts water in their mouth and the other person slaps their face with a tortilla to try and get that person to spit out their water. It was pretty fun and you can watch us here!

Then we went to the mall and ate at Chick fil A for dinner and then played at our school playground for a while. We came home and just did some stuff around home and then we watched the movie Wonder before we all fell asleep. We had french toast sticks and scrambled eggs for breakfast in the morning before everyone went home. It was a really fun sleepover! 

Pineapple Whip Cup!

I got a Pineapple Whip cup for my birthday and I love it! It keeps the pineapple whip colder and you get more in it but you don't have to pay more for the extra you get! It also came with a spoon which I love! I can't wait to fill it up a lot this summer. You can even keep it in there in the freezer, so that's cool! 

I'm 10!!

 I'm 10! Well I've been 10 for like a month now and it's been pretty good! My birthday was on a Friday and I had to go to school but it started with breakfast in bed! I had a donut that I wanted and I also got some candy that I like. I went to school and it was fun because everyone knew it was my birthday and Mommy brought me Chicken Salad Chick for lunch! I love that place! We went to dinner at Culver's with Gumma and Poppy on my birthday then they came over and we opened presents and had cake. It was a fun day!

The next day Gramma and Grampa came to stay for my family birthday party and everyone else came over, too. We had Qdoba style chicken and then opened presents and had chocolate lasagna and chocolate chip cookie cheesecake bars. It was really good! I got some really nice presents! I got a new violin case, a cool shirt, some books, a jewelry box, and lots of other fun things. I had a super great birthday and I love being 10! 

Battle Of The Books!

This year I got to be a part of the Battle of the Books at school! It was a lot of fun! It was a quiz competition about all the Mark Twain Award Nominee books. It was me and nine other fourth graders and we worked with our school librarian. We met during lunch time to practice and then when we had our actual competition. We did it through this quiz program we all use and it was a lot of fun. The classes from years past at Mann always got third place so we kind of figured we'd get third place, too. When we had the meeting to announce the winners we were all so super excited to hear that we got second place!! We were way more excited about second place than the people who got first place! That was kind of funny! But we had a really fun time and I'm so glad we got to do Battle of the Books this year! I hope we can do it again next year!
