Cookies For Me....I Mean Santa
Last week was my first Christmas and I got to set out cookies for Santa Claus for the very first time! Mommy helped me get the milk and cookies ready and when she sat me down by them I decided they looked so good that I had to eat some myself!

I Can Stand In My Crib!
I can stand in my crib now!! It's so much fun to do, especially when I don't want to go to sleep! I first learned how to do this last week and it's just so much fun to do. Mommy and Daddy even had to lower my crib because they were afraid I might fall out. I probably couldn't, but better be safe than sorry! Mommy took these pictures of me one night when I was supposed to be going to sleep. When I stood up I realized that I could reach the mobile Mommy had on my crib. Mommy told me I shouldn't do that, and she was right because I lost my balance and fell when I was reaching for it. Silly me! I should really listen to Mommy more I guess!

Clapping!
I learned how to clap my hands together! And the best part is that Mommy got it on video the first time I did this! Clapping is a lot of fun, especially when my hands make noises when clapped together!

Kitty Cats!
My Gumma has a kitty cat and I love it so much! The kitty cat's name is Buttons and I guess she's been around the whole time I've been here, but I haven't realized it until just lately! I love Buttons so much. I get really excited when I see her and I want to chase her all over the house. The other day I got close enough to touch her. I don't think Buttons liked it that much, though!

Happy Birthday Gramma!
Happy birthday to my Gramma Wiseman! Her birthday was actually on Friday, but I didn't get around to posting this until today. It's just busy at Christmastime. :) Mommy, Daddy, and I went up to Kansas City on her birthday to see her and to celebrate Christmas. I slept on the way up there and then we had dinner, birthday cupcakes, and presents! I got Gramma a pretty bath mat to keep at her house for when I stay here, some pretty earrings, and a charm for her Pandora bracelet. The charm is a knitting basket with yarn and needles. I thought that was pretty neat because Gramma likes to knit and has knitted me some things that I like to wear. Happy birthday, Gramma! I love you!

Snow Much Fun!
It snowed here last week and Mommy and Daddy took me outside to play in it! I think they might have had a little more fun than me, but I still had a good time! Mommy bundled me up so I was nice and warm. The snow is so much fun and so pretty. Daddy even said it was pretty and he hates snow!
Daddy helped me make a snow angel! Mommy said we had about 5 inches of snow and it even snowed more the next week, too! Here are some pictures of me and Mommy and Daddy playing in the snow!

I Met Santa Claus!
Last Saturday Mommy and Daddy took me to meet Santa Claus! Mommy dressed me up in a really pretty dress that kind of looked like something Santa would wear and we went out on a cold, snowy afternoon to meet Santa! We tried to go the week before but Daddy said the line was too long to wait in, so we went back after Daddy got a pass for us to go to the front of the line! He's such a good Daddy! Mommy said he went out Saturday morning to get the pass for us.
I was really excited about being there, but when it was my turn to see Santa, I got kind of scared. I'm sure Santa is a really nice man, but I just like being in the comfort of my Mommy and Daddy's arms, so I started crying. Santa gave me back to Daddy and we took a family picture with Santa Claus! Maybe next year he won't be so scary and I can sit with him myself. Merry Christmas!

Waving
I know how to wave now! I always see people waving at me and finally learned how to do it myself. Mommy and Daddy think it's so cute when I wave!

7 Months Old
I'm 7 months old now! The day I turned 7 months old was a special day - it was my first Thanksgiving and my first and only Thanksgivukkah!! Mommy said that's when Thanksgiving and Hanukkah happen on the same day and it will never occur again in my lifetime...unless I live for 77,000 years! I'm loving my life and am having so much fun! Here are some things I'm doing now:
- I weigh about 19 pounds!
- I have "real food" for lunch and dinner everyday. Mommy let me try apples and blueberries and I think that's my favorite, with sweet potatoes being a close second.
- I can drink juice from a sippy cup!
- I learned how to wave!
- I learned how to clap my hands!
- I'm trying to crawl and can move around by kind of scoot-crawling. It's pretty fun being able to move around more and get things I want. I've heard Mommy and Daddy talk about the baby proofing they need to do now that I can move around more.
- I like to dance when I hear music!
- I make all sorts of sounds and still really like to make raspberries!
- I love to look at the baby in the mirror!
- I take a bath in the big girl bathtub and don't need my little baby bathtub anymore!

My First Thanksgiving
Yesterday was my very first Thanksgiving! I had a good day that started with the Turkey Trot 5k with Mommy and Poppy. I guess Mommy and Poppy have been walking this together since 2008. Since they walked it together last year, this was really my second Turkey Trot!
After the Turkey Trot Mommy and Daddy took me to Gramma and Grampa's house in Kansas City for a yummy Thanksgiving dinner. I had fun playing with everyone there and eating my turkey and sweet potatoes!Saturday, November 23, 2013
Mashed Potatoes
I've been eating solid foods for a while now. Since September to be exact, which is like 1/3 of my whole life! Mommy and Daddy let me try some mashed potatoes and I really liked them. It was a lot of fun to put my hands in the potatoes and grab them to put in my mouth. I'm glad Mommy let me eat them like that!

My First LONG Road Trip!
Last weekend Mommy and Daddy took me to Omaha, Nebraska, to see my Gigi and Papa! Maybe you remember that I met them in July, and it was fun to get to see them again! It was a long trip - 6 hours in the car! Mommy and Daddy were kind of worried that I might not like being in my carseat that long, but I didn't mind. I was awake for a while but fell asleep and they I woke up at Gramma and Grampa Wiseman's house! I guess we stopped there so we could eat dinner and then take a break from being in the car. We left and the next thing I knew, I woke up in Omaha at Great Aunt Linda and Great Uncle Dale's house! I'd never met them before but have heard about them. I'm glad I finally got to meet them!
I had fun playing at Gigi and Papa's house. I even got to see Great Aunt Janice and my cousin Yana, and I got to meet my cousin Gina and Taley. It was such a fun weekend! I wish they lived closer so I could see the more often.
