Sleeping and Snoring

As you know, I like to sleep! You can read about my love for sleeping here and here.  I love sleeping and sometimes I snore when I sleep. Mommy caught it on video one day and we thought it would be fun to share it with you!

A Big Weekend

Last weekend was a big one for me. I got to see Gramma and Grampa Wiseman and stay at their house for the first time. Staying in Kansas City meant I also got to see Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Matt, and cousins Conner, Tucker, and Haddie. And I also got to meet my Gigi and Papa, Aunt Janice, and cousin Yana! Gigi and Papa are my great-grandparents...my Poppy's parents. Aunt Janice is my Poppy's sister.

I had such a fun time getting to see everyone. I was even fed by different people, too...Gramma, Gigi, and Yana. I wish everyone lived closer so I could see them more often. I'm glad Mommy took pictures for me!

Robe Time!

Mommy and Daddy wear a robe, like they wear slippers. Since I have slippers to wear like them, it's only fitting that I have a robe to wear like them! Mommy put me in my robe the other night and I sure did like it. I can't wait to wear it again!

 

Flying

Mommy and Daddy have been doing different activities with me to help strengthen my neck and back. They call it "tummy time." I don't usually like tummy time, but it's getting better. Over the weekend Daddy did something with me that he called flying. It was so much fun! He put me on his legs and lifted them up in the air, like I was flying. I hope he continues to do this with me!

Mail!

If you know my Mommy, you know she likes getting mail. I think her love for getting mail was passed down to me. Last week when I went to get the mail with Mommy I saw a package in the mailbox addressed just to ME! I was so excited!!

Gramma sent me a hat that she knitted. It's so soft and pretty and I can put different flowers and ribbons on it. I'm really excited to wear it. It's a little big right now, but I'm sure I'll grow into it in no time at all. Thank you Gramma! I love you!

Ahh...

Now that I'm two months old I'm beginning to learn how to talk. One of the words I can say is Ah. Daddy is helping me learn to talk. I like when he does that!

Slippers!

Mommy and Daddy both wear slippers around the house. They didn't want me to feel left out so they got me slippers, too! They even got me 2 pairs of slippers!

Swimming

I had my first experience with swimming a few weekends ago! Mommy and Daddy took me to Gumma and Poppy's house and I tried out swimming...as much as I could swim for being so little. I think Mommy and Daddy had a much better time than I did!

Daddy got in the pool and then slowly got my legs wet. The water was pretty cold. I bet I might like it if it was warmer, like bath water. They were very careful with me and took me out when it was shaded so I wouldn't be in the sun (because I can't wear sunscreen yet). And Daddy held onto me really tightly so I wouldn't fall in the water on my own. I was in the water for maybe 5 minutes and then I was done!

I had a cute swimsuit with matching cover up, so even though I didn't really like swimming that much right now, I did look cute. That's all that matters, right?!

2 Months Old

I am now two months old! I can't believe I've already been here for two whole months! Of course, Mommy took some pictures of me with my two-month sticker and in my one-year onesie to see how much I've grown.

Speaking of growing, I've grown a lot! I went to the doctor on Monday for my two-month check up and I weigh 12.2 pounds, am 23 1/4" long, and have a head circumference of 39 cm. I am a growing girl! I'm also sleeping longer stretches at night, but have a hard time going to bed when Mommy and Daddy would like for me to go to bed. Oh well, some day I'll get it figured out.

I like to play with Mommy and Daddy and like to coo at them. I'm kind of learning how to laugh and think it will be lots of fun when I can laugh.

So that's my life for now!
