My First Thanksgiving

Yesterday was my very first Thanksgiving! I had a good day that started with the Turkey Trot 5k with Mommy and Poppy. I guess Mommy and Poppy have been walking this together since 2008. Since they walked it together last year, this was really my second Turkey Trot!





After the Turkey Trot Mommy and Daddy took me to Gramma and Grampa's house in Kansas City for a yummy Thanksgiving dinner. I had fun playing with everyone there and eating my turkey and sweet potatoes!

Mashed Potatoes

I've been eating solid foods for a while now. Since September to be exact, which is like 1/3 of my whole life! Mommy and Daddy let me try some mashed potatoes and I really liked them. It was a lot of fun to put my hands in the potatoes and grab them to put in my mouth. I'm glad Mommy let me eat them like that!

My First LONG Road Trip!

Last weekend Mommy and Daddy took me to Omaha, Nebraska, to see my Gigi and Papa! Maybe you remember that I met them in July, and it was fun to get to see them again! It was a long trip - 6 hours in the car! Mommy and Daddy were kind of worried that I might not like being in my carseat that long, but I didn't mind. I was awake for a while but fell asleep and they I woke up at Gramma and Grampa Wiseman's house! I guess we stopped there so we could eat dinner and then take a break from being in the car. We left and the next thing I knew, I woke up in Omaha at Great Aunt Linda and Great Uncle Dale's house! I'd never met them before but have heard about them. I'm glad I finally got to meet them!
I had fun playing at Gigi and Papa's house. I even got to see Great Aunt Janice and my cousin Yana, and I got to meet my cousin Gina and Taley. It was such a fun weekend! I wish they lived closer so I could see the more often.

Bath Time!

Mommy and Daddy give me a bath every night before bed and I really like it. Especially now that I have a lot more room to play because as Mommy says, I take a bath in a big girl bathtub! It's so much fun to be in the big bathtub instead of the little one I was in before. Mommy and Daddy got me a pretty pink rubber ducky mat to sit on and they even have some toys for me to play with during my bath. I need more bath toys, though. Sometimes they will turn on the water and let me play with it when it's coming out of the faucet. I love bath time!!

Happy Birthday To My Mommy!

Today is my Mommy's birthday! She is 35! I sure love her and am so happy to spend the day with her today. Daddy did some shopping for me and got her some good gifts from me. I know she likes pictures so I got her some picture frames! Happy birthday Mommy! I love you!

My First Halloween

Yesterday was my first Halloween. Ever! It was a pretty fun day, pretty uneventful, really. I woke up around 8am, played, ate, slept, woke up to eat lunch, played, slept, you know the drill! Gumma and Poppy came over to see me in my Halloween costume so I played with them for a little while.

That night Mommy dressed me in my pretty lady bug costume and we handed out candy to all the kids who trick or treated at our house. There weren't a whole lot of kids, but I had fun giving out candy. I really like Skittles! I even got to go trick or treating at our neighbor's house, too! I can't wait until next year and the years after that when I can really do some trick or treating and eat lots of candy!
