I Love My Teddy Bear!

I have a teddy bear that Mommy and Daddy got me before I was even born and I love it so much! I love to sleep with it and Mommy takes pictures of us. She thinks all the different positions teddy is in is funny!

My First Time At The Park!

Mommy and Daddy took me to the park last week and it was so much fun! I've never been to the park to play, but have walked by parks with Mommy and Daddy and always wanted to go play at them. I got to go swinging and I also got to go down a slide. It was the best time ever! And I had a lot of fun watching all the kids at the park. I really like other little people. It was so nice and sunny outside and I can't wait to play at the park more this summer!

Spring Break!

I'm on Spring Break this week!! My band (well really my Kindermusik class) is having Spring Break. How cool is that? I'm only 10 months old and already have Spring Break! It's nice weather this week, so Mommy and Daddy are playing with me outside. It's so much fun!!

I'm In A Band!

I'm in a band! I love my band so much. We get to meet once a week on Tuesdays and play with instruments, listen to music, read books, play with other little people, and lots of other fun things. It's so much fun and I'm so glad Mommy and Daddy signed me up for band!

Daddy's calls it my band, but it's really a class called Kindermusik. Kindermusik is a program that offers developmentally-specific music classes for kids from newborn to age seven. Mommy first heard about Kindermusik quite a few years ago from a friend at church who used to teach Kindermusik. Mommy thought that would be fun to do with her kids someday. Well, she had me and remembered Kindermusik, rearched it, and found someone in Springfield who taught it. And it's neat because my teacher is the mother-in-law to one of Mommy's friends from church and they are going to it with their little boy, Charlie. And my teacher, Miss Ellen, lives like five minutes from my house!

It's pretty fun. We go each Tuesday from 6-6:45pm and always start off with singing a song. We say hello to each student in the class in our song. Then we'll play with different instruments like drums, bells, shakers, lots of fun things. Last week we got to play with bubbles! That was pretty neat. It's a fun time to play with new toys and play with my new friends, too. My teacher is really nice and even takes pictures of us each week. You can see the pictures here.

My favorite week was probably when I got to ride in a laundry basket with my friend, Charlie. It was so much fun! He's a lot younger than me. He's only 3 months old so I don't think he knew what was going on at all.

New Toys!

Mommy got me new toys and I hear that they're toys that she plays with, too. We play with them in different ways, though. I like to pull these toys out of the cabinet, put them over my head, chew on them, and push them around the floor as I crawl. Mommy bakes with them and stores food in them. I wonder if she's ever thought of playing with them like I do. I bet she would have fun!

10 Months Old

I'm 10 months old now! I'm loving life and having fun playing with all my toys! Pretty much like last  I play with all my toys, pull up on everything and walk along the furniture, sleep all night long, feed myself little puffy snacks, ride in my big girl chair in the car, play peekaboo with myself, and lots of other things! 

• I weigh 22 pounds!   
• I have a top tooth now! It came in a few days ago and my other top middle tooth is trying to come in, too.
• I really like eating ham and cheese for lunch! Mommy feeds me this most every day and it's so yummy. I'm getting better at feeding myself, but sometimes it's just easier for Mommy to feed me!  
• I love drinking water!
• I am an expert on waving at people!
• I can say "dada" and "mama" and everything is called dada and mama to me!
• I say "uh oh" a lot!
• I LOVE reading books, especially lift-the-flap books!
• I like to wear my hair in a ponytail on top of my head!
• I can crawl up the stairs!
• I can walk pushing a toy, but don't know how to walk on my own yet. Maybe next month! 
• I love crawling all around my house.
• I like to play this game where I drop stuff on the floor and have Mommy and Daddy pick it up for me. It's so much fun!
• I like going to work with Mommy and playing in the daycare there!
