Christmas Cookie Cutter Cookies!

We had fun making Christmas cookie cutter cookies a few weeks ago! Mommy mixed up the dough for us and then she helped us roll it out and cut out cookies with cookie cutters. Then the fun part came - we got to decorate them! It was a lot of fun decorating the cookies with lots of different colors and sprinkles. Daddy even helped us decorate some cookies and he did a really good job!

Presents For Mommy!

My school had a Holiday Store where the students got to go shopping for Christmas gifts. Mommy gave me some money to go shopping with so I got her a present! It was really cool because I shopped after I ate my lunch one day and then the people at school wrapped the present for me. I brought it home to Mommy and had her open it right away -- I couldn't wait until Christmas for her to open it! It was a picture frame that says "family is everything." I knew she'd like it because Mommy really likes pictures and putting them in frames around our house. It was really fun getting her a gift like that!

We Have An Elf!

We have an Elf On The Shelf and her name is Sweetie Pie and I just love her so much! She came to live with us on December 2 and it's been fun to see where all she's ended up each morning. Last year I got the Elf On The Shelf book and loved reading it. This year when we got our Christmas decorations out I was excited to read it again and really hoped we would get our own elf! I really love Sweetie Pie. She's so cute and although she can't talk to me, I like talking to her!

Santa!

Mommy and Daddy took us to see Santa last week. It was fun, but I didn't really want to sit on his lap, so we took a family picture with him instead of me alone with him. I was excited to see him, but was a little scared. After we talked to Santa, I got to write him a letter to tell him, again, what I want for Christmas and I took a fun picture with a nutcracker!

Mann MVP!

Each month my school has a character word that we focus on. At the end of the month our teacher picks someone from our class who has demonstrated that word and they receive an MVP award. My teacher picked me for November and our word was caring! I was so excited to get this award because I tried really hard to be caring to all my friends. It was really neat because I was given the award at our Mann Huddle (what we call assemblies) and I got to say my name into the microphone! It was so cool!  You can listen to me explain it all here!

The Christmas Story

One day at school we had to have recess inside because it was too cold to go outside. I like to color and draw pictures so I asked my teacher for some paper and crayons. I drew a picture of a Christmas tree and a picture of the manger where baby Jesus was born along with Mary, Joseph, the wise men and angels. I also wrote out the story about when Jesus was born. Mommy And Lucy Day

One day last month I didn't have school, but Molly did, so Mommy and I got to have a Mommy and Lucy Day. It was a lot of fun! First we dropped Molly off and preschool and it was kind of funny because I got to wait in the carline for her at preschool, just like she always waited for me at preschool! That day was election day, so I helped Mommy vote. She let me fill in some of the circles on the voting card, so that was pretty cool!

After that we went to Target and got to look around at all the LOL dolls (which I LOVE) and then we went to Sam's and I got to look at some more toys. Finally we went to a store to buy some Christmas outfits for me and Molly. I ended up getting a really fun elf sweater and a really nice brown winter coat.

It was such a fun day being with Mommy all myself! I sure do love her!
