Jesus Lives In My Heart!

I went to Vacation Bible School at church in June and had a really great time! We learned all about Moses and how he lived in Egypt and kept asking the Pharoah to let his people go. He finally let them go and then we learned about how they crossed the Red Sea and then wondered in the desert for 40 years before making it to the Promised Land. We also learned about Jesus and how he died on the cross and saved us from our sins. I had heard this story lots of times before, but something about the story this week clicked with me and on Friday, June 14, 2019, I asked Jesus to come live in my heart! I was really excited about this and Mommy was, too! We told some of our friends at church and they were really excited for me, too! It was a great VBS! Mommy even bought me a new Bible because all I had was little kid Bibles, but now I have a good big kid one!

Bike Riding!

Tonight was really fun because we rode bikes outside! I don't ride my bike much because it's kind of scary to me, but tonight I did a really good job riding it! It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to ride again and even get a bike that fits me better. I got this bike when I turned three and I've grown a lot since then! Mommy even got her bike out and rode it with us! You can watch me ride here.

We were like a bike squad!

4th Of July!

We had a fun Fourth of July! We got to sleep in and have donuts and then went to Gumma and Poppy's house to hang out for the day. We went swimming for a little bit and then after dinner we shot off fireworks! Daddy did all the shooting them off. He said I could help him, but I was happy just watching them. I also sang my "Hooray For The Cheer Of America" song that Mommy really likes. You can watch me sing it here!

HyVee Kids Fit Camp!

I went to a Kids Fit Camp at Hy-Vee grocery store a few weeks ago and loved it! It was Monday-Friday from 10-11:30am, and my Mommy was super excited about it because it was free! My friend, Myah, went, too, so it was nice having someone there that I already knew. I met a friend named Abigail who I really liked hanging out with at camp. Each day we learned something new about foods and nutrition and we even started off each day with exercises! We did stretches and burpees and push-ups and played exercise games. It was just so much fun! I went to every day of Kids Fit Camp and because I did that, on Friday I got to pick a prize out of the prize box! I picked out a Kids Fit water bottle and I'm so proud of it! I love drinking water from it. Miss Amanda, the dietitian at Hy-Vee and my Kids Fit teacher, said it's very important to drink lots of water each day, especially in the summer when it's really hot. I can't wait to go back to Kids Fit Camp next summer!

One day we had a scavenger hunt throughout the store and we got to look at these live lobsters! They were neat to look at!

This is my friend, Myah. We had matching shirts on this day!

Mommy took pictures of me doing my stretches at the beginning of one of the days!

This is a rainbow smoothie I made one day. We learned about eating the colors of the rainbow to get a variety of different types of foods and colors. The smoothie was really yummy!

This is my friend, Abigail, who I met at Kids Fit Camp. She's going to be in first grade next year, too!

This is the fruit pizza I made on the last day of Kids Fit Camp. It had yummy fruit on a watermelon and I had my watermelon shirt on that day! Super fun!

My Fifth Grade Buddy

When I was in kindergarten I was paired up with a fifth grader. My fifth grader's name was Ainsley and she was called my buddy. It was a lot of fun because I got together with her once a week and did fun things together like crafts and reading and stuff. I really liked Ainsley and was sad when school was over because I wouldn't see her anymore.

Well, a few weeks ago we went to a baseball game and we saw Ainsley there! It was so much fun to see her again! I even had my picture taken with her!

My LOL Dolls!

I love all of my LOL dolls! One day I gathered them all together on the table and had fun doing a photo shoot with them! I hope you love them as much as I do! And thank you, Mommy, for letting me use your camera!

The ATTIC!!!

So we have an attic above our garage and also above Molly's closet in her bedroom. I've never been in either attic and have always wondered what they look like. Well, one day when Daddy was home on vacation he let me look in the attic! It was so much fun! It was a little scary going up the stairs, but Daddy helped me, so that made it better. It was dark in the attic and there wasn't really anything up there, but it was super fun to finally see it!

The Kansas City Art Museum

When we went on vacation to Kansas City we went to the art museum. It's actually called the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, but I like art museum for short. It was fun looking at everything. Gramma really had a fun time showing me around and showing me some of her favorite paintings, too. We even got to walk around outside and look at some sculptures. That was fun, but it was really hot, so we didn't look at everything outside.
