Pre-K Graduation Decorations

Last week Molly graduated from Pre-K and we had a graduation party for her! Aunt Stephanie, Trevor, and Cody, even came up to surprsie Molly at her party. Her teachers did a drive-by graduation and came to our house to give her a diploma. It was a fun day! I even made Molly some graduation decorations and she really liked them! I loved making them for her and was so happy that she loved them! You can watch Molly see them for the first time here!

Last Day Of First Grade!!!

Today was my last day of first grade! I can't believe I'm going to be in SECOND grade next year! I really, really, really loved first grade and even told Mommy that I wanted to stay in first grade forever when I got into the car on the first day of school! My teacher, Mrs. Hemphill, was so nice and fun! It was a little weird how the year ended and I didn't go back to school for the entire fourth quarter, but homeschool was pretty fun, too. Mommy was a good teacher and I liked being at home all the time.

The last day of school was super fun! Mommy had told us we had to do school work, but then she surprised us by telling us we could get donuts instead! We got donuts and then Poppy even brought us donuts, too! Our friends, Darby and Owen, came over to play with us and we got a Chick-Fil-A tray for lunch before we played. We had the best time playing! We played in the friendly caterpillar, the slip in slide, rode bikes, played on our swingset, oh it was so much fun!

I'm excited for summer and all the fun we will have with Mommy!

I Can Ride My Bike!!

I can now ride my bike all on my own without training wheels and it is SO MUCH FUN!!!! We took the training wheels off my bike in April, but Mommy and Daddy have had to help me ride because it was just scarry! Then I got my Razer scooter for my birthday and I just wanted to ride it and kind of forgot about riding my bike. Well, we were at a friend's house last week and everyone was riding bikes. There weren't any bikes with training wheels and I really wanted to ride with them, so I just got on and started riding! I can't believe I didn't do it sooner! It was so easy and so much fun! Now I've just had the best time ever riding my bike! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to ride my bike all up and down our street! Here is the first time I showed Mommy how I ride without training wheels and here I am riding at home!

Texture Art Project

I've been doing some art projects during homeschool and this is one that I really enjoyed doing! We had to find a bunch of different textures in our house and color on them so we can see the difference each texture makes. I started by just free drawing and making lines and circles and stuff on the paper. Then I took my paper and laid it on top of different textures and colored. It was fun! I used the floor, the carpet, a ladder, a step stool, and I even went outside to color on the deck and sidewalk. This was a really neat project to do and I think my drawing looks rpetty!

I Lost TWO Teeth!!

Last week I lost TWO of my top front teeth! I still can't believe that I lost both teeth! It was kind of traumatic how it happened. Both of the teeth have been loose for quite a while and Mommy and Daddy have really wanted me to let them pull the teeth out, but I've said no! Well, Wednesday night Mommy and I were playing a new catch game we got and the ball hit my tooth and knocked it out of my mouth! I was so scared and it hurt really badly, too! Molly was even scared because she saw blood on my finger!

We got me all calmed down and cleaned up and then I got to put my tooth in the tooth fairy pillow! It was hard sleeping that night because my mouth still kind of hurt and I was excited for the tooth fairy to come. The next morning I found that she had left me a gold $1 coin and some of my favorite gum! I was so excited about it!

Later that morning I was biting into a muffin and I saw blood on my muffin. I called for Daddy and he came and realized that my tooth was just hanging and needed to be pulled out. I told him it was okay, so he pulled my second loose tooth out! I can't believe that I lost two teeth so close like that! The second tooth didn't really hurt coming out, but my mouth feels so super weird right now! It's even hard to talk and swallow and I think that I drool a lot now. Mommy says it will get better, but I don't know!

I put my tooth in the tooth fairy pillow again that night and found that she left me a $1 bill and some Starburst gum! I'd never had the Starburst gum before and I really like it! It's been fun having the tooth fairy visit, but I hope she doesn't have to visit me for a really long time now!

Surprise Teacher Visit!

A few weeks ago I had a surprise visit from my teacher, Mrs. Hemphill! It was super fun that she came to visit me at my house! She brought me a treat bag and even brought a treat bag for Molly, too! It was really fun to see and talk to Mrs. Hemphill in person! She's just been the best teacher ever!
