My Little Sister Is Here!!

My little sister, Molly Mae, is here now! She was born on Friday, February 20, and Mommy said she weighed 7 pounds and 7 ounces and was 19 inches long. She's smaller than I was. I was 8 pounds and 1 ounce and 21 1/2 inches long. She's really tiny! I got to meet her at the hospital the day after she was born and it was really neat seeing her for the first time. Mommy and Daddy were there along with Gumma and Gramma and Grampa. I got to hold Molly, too! It was so neat just looking at her and seeing how small she is.

She lives with us now, too. She's always here and I really like her. Mommy and Daddy let me hold her, but they say I can't hold her on my own or pick her up. They have to help me hold her. She seems to sleep a lot. And she cries sometimes and when she cries it's really loud! I think she's going to be pretty fun to play with and am so happy she's here!

Playing With My Zippers

I know how to use zippers now and it's so much fun! I like to zip and unzip things, especially my pajamas! All of my pajamas have zippers on them and a lot of times at night before I go to sleep I like to unzip my pajamas. Sometimes I fall asleep before I get them zipped back up and I wake up looking like the pictures below. Mommy and Daddy think it's really funny!

Making Cookies!

I got to stay with Gumma and Poppy one night last week because my Mommy had to go to the doctor and I can't go with her. Gumma has a book that I really like to read called "Mouse Cookie." It's about a mouse who bakes cookies for all of his friends. I like to pretend to eat cookies while we read the book.

Gumma thought it would be fun for us to bake cookies together, so we did! Well, she probably did most of the work, but I did help a little. She said we made "cookie cutter cookies" which are just sugar cookies that you cut shapes out of with cookie cutters. Gumma said she used to make these all the time with Mommy and Aunt Stephanie when they were growing up.

Gumma mixed everything up and I watched. She rolled out the dough and then I got to press the cookie cutters into the dough. It was fun and pretty easy. When the cookies were baked we got to frost them, but Gumma did that while I was taking a nap because when I got up there were lots of pretty heart cookies with frosting on them.

It was so much fun and I like to randomly tell Mommy about how Gumma made cookies!

Tearing Paper

I have a new game I like to play but Mommy and Daddy don't think it's all that fun. I like to tear paper! You know, like wrapping paper from presents, the newspaper, and books! Mommy and Daddy just don't see the fun in this, especially in tearing books.

One day when I was supposed to be napping I got a hold of two paper books and decided they would be fun to tear up. Mommy wasn't very happy about this, but she still took a picture of it!

My Pretty Heart Shirt

I got a present in the mail last week! I love getting presents, especially now since I know how to open presents! Gramma and Grampa Wiseman sent me a pretty heart shirt that I can wear for Valentine's Day this year and also after that, too. And Gramma and Grampa even got to see me open the present because we got to FaceTime with them. Thank you for my shirt, Gramma and Grampa!

My First Bible Verse

A few weeks ago I got to stay the night with Gumma and Poppy. Mommy had to go to the doctor so I stayed with them because I couldn't go with her. While I was there, Gumma taught me my very first Bible verse: God is love. It took me a while to remember it, but now I like to say it randomly. I like to say it two times - once kind of slow and then again kind of fast!
