We went to Urban Air Adventure this summer with our friends, Amelie and Maren. We ate at Chick fil A at the mall first, so that was fun. We always have fun with them, though! Urban Air was fun and we did a jousting thing together! I also did a ropes course that was kind of scarey, but fun. You can watch me do the jousting here and the ropes course here!
I got baptized on Sunday, August 6! I got saved on June 14, 2019, but wasn't ready to get baptized until now. Mommy got to be in the pool with me and one of the children's pastors from church actually baptized me. It was a neat experience and I'm so glad I did it. I wanted to share with everyone that I love Jesus and want to live my life for him! You can watch it here!
Today was the first day of school and I'm in 5th grade now! It's weird that I've been going to school at Horace Mann Elementary for 6 years now. I've really liked it here and am kind of sad that it's my last year here because it's elementary school and it only goes through 5th grade. Next year I'll be in middle school! My teacher this year is Mr. Post and I wasn't super excited about that when I found out, but I met him yesterday at Meet the Teacher and I think I'm going to really like him! His room is filled with books! He has a whole wall of books and tons of books on his shelves! I think it will be a good year!
Our school sends a letter with a card that has info about who our teacher is and a scratch off/peel off thing to see a picture of who our teacher is. I guessed my teacher right away!
We got baseboards for our basement and they were so long that Daddy had to saw them down to the right size at the store. I tried helping him saw them and it was kind of hard! You can watch me here!
Mommy took us to Barnes & Noble last week and I got to buy a book and then she bought us a Starbucks treat! I LOVE going to Barnes & Noble and I LOVE books! I had done some work at Gumma and Poppy's house for them and they paid me so I used that money to buy a book. I actually bought two books because I had some other money leftover that I used. I just love buying books! The first book I got is the third City Spies book. I've really liked the first two books and I was so excited to buy this one. I have the first one and it's even signed by the author!
I got a caramel frappacino at Starbucks and it was so good! It was really sweet but I loved it! That was a fun morning!
